Baltimore kicker Billy Cundiff shanked a 32-yard field goal that would have tied the game at 23. Instead, New England advances to the Super Bowl.
In Baltimore’s 23-20 loss there were several plays that were the difference in the game. Lee Evans’ non-catch in the end zone should have been reviewed.
The defense held Tom Brady to 239 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Lardarius Webb had two interceptions and Ed Reed had another one as the Baltimore Ravens beat the Houston Texans 20-13 to advance to the AFC Championship Game.

The Baltimore Ravens (12-4) accomplished their goal Sunday afternoon with a 24-16 victory over the youthful Cincinnati Bengals (9-7).
Baltimore was led by Ray Rice, who gained 191 yards on 24 carries. He added two touchdowns, each on huge plays. Rice’s second touchdown, a 51-yard run, iced the game for Baltimore because it put them up 24-13 with less than six minutes to go in the game.

At the end of the game, quarterback Joe Flacco used a hard count to ice the game for the Baltimore Ravens (11-4). Baltimore got themselves closer to a division title and a top-two seed in the AFC playoffs with a 20-14 victory over the Cleveland Browns (4-11).
Flacco once again had an uneven game. He completed eight of his first 11 passes for two touchdowns, but had trouble in the second half. Part of his struggles led to an interception in the end zone on a bomb to Lee Evans. Flacco ended the day 11-of-24 for 132 yards with two touchdowns and the interception.
The quarterback also watched his receivers, Ed Dickson and Torrey Smith, dropped a few passes on third downs. Those drops could have easily led to a couple continued drives.

Just when everything seemed to be coming together for the Ravens (10-4), they lose a game they had to have. The San Diego Chargers (7-7) scored on every possession but one to beat up the Ravens 34-14 Sunday night.
Philip Rivers wasted no time getting a lead on the Ravens. After a Billy Cundiff missed field goal, his third in three weeks, Rivers drove San Diego 74 yards for a touchdown.

What a great day for the Baltimore Ravens (10-3). From the opening whistle, the Ravens dominated the overmatched Indianapolis Colts (0-13).
Running back Ray Rice went over the 1,000-yard mark for the season and gained 100 yards while also scoring a touchdown en route to the Ravens’ 24-10 victory Sunday.

This game shouldn’t have been a doubt and it wasn’t for the Baltimore Ravens (9-3) Sunday. They got off to a fast start with running back Ray Rice, who gained 204 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries. His workhorse-type day yielded a 24-10 Ravens’ victory over the hapless Cleveland Browns (4-8).
Rice wasn’t the only running back to get in to the act. Backup Ricky Williams gained 76 yards on 18 carries and scored a touchdown. Williams gained some tough yards, but found a lot of holes in the Cleveland defense.

A Thanksgiving showdown between the Harbaugh brothers ended in style for the Baltimore Ravens (8-3). The defense strutted around the field all night long to the tune of nine sacks, tying a team record, en route to a 16-6 Ravens’ victory.
Terrell Suggs led the defense with three sacks and a forced fumble. Suggs just continued to add to his candidacy for Defensive Player of the Year.

Andy Dalton is one impressive rookie quarter. Sure he had three interceptions, but he threw for 373 yards and one touchdown against the vaunted Ravens’ defense. There were several times the Ravens (7-3) defensive backs were beaten deep by Cincinnati (6-4) receivers.
It didn’t really seem to matter by the end of the day, though. Dalton proved he was a rookie when Terrell Suggs wrapped him up and he threw the ball out of bounds for intentional grounding. That was effectively the end of the game in the Ravens’ 31-24 victory.

Jeff Wolfson: What has been the most impressive part of the Cincinnati Bengals season to this point?
Joe Reedy: The biggest thing is that this team does not get flustered if it has a bad play or two. That happened frequently last year and was a big reason why they lost 10 straight games.
