In another week of a struggling offense, the Maryland Terrapins (4-6, 2-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) dropped their latest game to the Clemson Tigers (9-1, 6-1). The Tigers beat Maryland 45-10 Saturday afternoon.
Playing without Stefon Diggs and with fifth string quarterback Shawn Petty, it was a very similar game to last week’s loss. Maryland just can’t throw the ball very well with Petty.
The defense has degraded over the season because the offense can’t stay on the field. Maryland’s turnovers have continued and Clemson took advantage Saturday.
Maryland plays its final home game next Saturday against Florida State.
