The Maryland Terrapins (2-0, 0-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) have earned their second victory of the season. It came in Week 2 and they’ve got a chance for more this season.
Saturday afternoon, the Terps defeated the Temple Owls (1-1, 0-0 Big East) 36-27.
Freshman quarterback Perry Hills looked much improved from his first start even though he did turn the ball once on a fumble.
Hills hit his receivers in stride twice en route to the end zone for Maryland’s points.
Freshman wide receiver Stefon Diggs lost a fumble (one of four the Terps lost on the day), but showed the ability to take over a game.
The Terps will face Randy Edsall’s old school, Connecticut, next Saturday afternoon.
