What a great day for the Baltimore Ravens (10-3). From the opening whistle, the Ravens dominated the overmatched Indianapolis Colts (0-13).
Running back Ray Rice went over the 1,000-yard mark for the season and gained 100 yards while also scoring a touchdown en route to the Ravens’ 24-10 victory Sunday.
In addition to Rice, quarterback Joe Flacco threw two touchdowns, but did throw a bad interception. Flacco’s touchdowns went to rookie wide receiver Torrey Smith and second-year tight end Dennis Pitta.
The touchdown to Smith was in the first quarter and Pitta’s came in the third quarter.
Indianapolis’ touchdown came right at the end of the game as time was expiring. Quarterback Dan Orlovsky had Terrell Suggs in his face all day. Suggs wound up with three sacks on the day. Orlovsky led the Colts to 167 yards of total offense.
The Ravens will now prepare for their Sunday night game against the San Diego Chargers. Ray Lewis is expected back for that game.
