The Ravens (4-1) beat up the Houston Texans (3-3) in the first and fourth quarters en route to a 29-14 victory to keep them in first place in the AFC North.
Quarterback Joe Flacco passed for 305 yards, completing 20 of his 33 passes with an interception and a rushing touchdown. Flacco stood in the face of a fierce rush and played a solid game.
The beneficiary of a lot of Flacco’s yards was Anquan Boldin, who ended the game with eight catches and 132 yards. Running back Ray Rice also caught five balls for 60 yards. Rice also rushed for 101 yards.
Baltimore’s defense, after some early struggles, kept coming at Houston quarterback Matt Schaub, sacking him four times.
The Ravens will now be featured on “Monday Night Football” against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
