The Baltimore Ravens will travel to Charlotte, NC to take on the struggling Carolina Panthers. The Ravens have never beaten the Panthers in the regular season. However, at least on paper, this game doesn’t appear close.
Baltimore was close to beating a very good Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta and have had 10 days to rest up for this game. With a long rest, the Ravens had a mini bye week and their players, except Chris Chester, have gotten healthier. Chester is listed as questionable with an illness, according to sources.
On the other side of the ball, Carolina is banged up and on their third starting quarterback of the season. The Panthers signed Brian St. Pierre, who had not been on a team since last season, to start against the Ravens. In his career he has taken five snaps.
Carolina is also without their top three running backs. DeAngelo Williams is out for the season, Jonathan Stewart is out with a concussion and Tyrell Sutton also will not play, so fourth-string running back Mike Goodson will get the start.
The Ravens have a hot quarterback in Joe Flacco and a defense that’s eager to prove they’re still an elite unit. This whole games spells trouble for Carolina and the Ravens will win 28-3.
